The Story
Just like our very first mantel clocks, 165 years ago, our American Documentsâ„¢ collection layers American ingenuity and craftsmanship with European precision to create a truly amazing timepiece.
BRASS CASE BACK COIN & CROWN INSERT
Stamped in US-sourced brass and plated with "Aged Waterbury Brass" to match the color of our original brass timepieces, the relief on the commemorative design is hand polished before it completes our first American-made watch in generations. This crown design detail honors our 1854 roots in Waterbury, Connecticut — the "Brass City."
